The Grand Ole Hoprey
Check out my buddy Matt Hopper. He is a killer songwriter. I first met matt when i was 17, i opened for him in an all age club in Alaska. We have played together all over Alaska and even in Florida. He lives all over the USA, and makes some killer music with some killer bands. Check out his album “The Gold Rush” and “Jersey Finger“, those are some of my favorites. He has a country album coming out this year as well, i heard the demos, gonna be good. check it out, you’ll thank me. bye.
Original Iphone.
so im using an original 8g iphone for the next few months until we get settled in winston. i had an iphone 4, but i sold it for a pretty good price for a phone that is two years old, and the back screen was cracked ($150). In order to tweet, ive got to text it in. haha, how awesome it that. so if you see me with a silver brick in my hand, you know whats going on.
Amps.
I’m going to spending the next year or so (I’m going to try not to spend any money on gear, no more pedals or guitars) saving for a new amp, these are a few I’m looking at the following amps:
Big News…
We wanted to make the official announcement that at the end of the month, we are moving to Winston-Salem, North Carolina. We are very excited and honored to join our new Pastor, Dr. Mike Rakes, and the staff at Winston-Salem First Assembly. We will be apart of the ministry team and work directly in a few different areas. The Lord has spoken to us that this is the next step for our lives, and though we are sad to leave, we are so looking forward to going to North Carolina.
Our desire has and always will be to be in the middle of what God is doing, and God has placed this city and church on our heart. He has worked out every detail, and we have been very encouraged. Please pray for us as we begin to pack, and transition our lives to North Carolina. We look forward to sharing the journey with you! Thanks so much!

Tenth Avenue North
I got to go hang at the civic center yesterday for load in/set up/ and sound check for tenth avenue north yesterday. pretty cool dudes. lots of a cool gear (teles, reverend, breedlove, duesenburg, orange amps, fender amps, and a lot of JHS pedals). i was going to get a picture of Jeff’s board, but by the time i had a free minute the opening band was taking over and they took forever to set up and sound check. i got a to hear a few of tenth ave (thats what they referred to themselves as) songs during sound check. they sounded good, i left before the show though, went to hang with my pregnant wife! anyway, here are some iphone pictures.
